DAVERN ATTEND UKL TRADE SHOW 2009
(January 2009)                                                                                                                                                                                           Davern were invited to showcase their brands at the UKL trade show early this year. Over the 3 days Davern sent 5 people to support the UKL team, including new Business Development Manager, Steve Gear.

The trade show was a great opportunity to repay UKL for their support over the past 3 years and offer customers the chance to examine a large range of products rather than relying on catalogue images.

The show was a success and according to the Davern Team so was the evening entertainment allowing the possibility of meeting old friends and new in a relaxed environment.

(Posted, 05 January, 2007)
One of the most exciting developments for Davern in 2007 will be that we have joined the industry elite by being asked to show our products in one of the industries leading catalogues. UK Leisurewear have taken two different ranges one being the Aprons and Tabards from the Davern brand and also the hugely successful Harbour Lights Cargo range. This is a major move for Davern Workwear and will put us along side some of the biggest names within the industry.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK ON NEW BALLISTIC TROUSER
(Posted 20 May, 2006)
After research with several Davern Customers, we agreed to make and stock a Navy Ballistic-reinforced trouser, and to include it in our latest catalogue (code 4510). This has been recognised to be a huge success, and customers are now asking for this trouser to be stocked in Bottle Green. Although this colour does not appear in your current brochure, we have agreed to stock this colour, and from mid June, it will be available from stock.

Some customers are now asking if it would be possible to stock a Ballistic Trouser with twin hi-vis stripes around the bottom of the leg. We would value and appreciate your thoughts on this product.

CARGO RANGE "HUGE SUCCESS"
(Posted 10 May, 2006)
We are pleased to announce that in addition to the increase in our sales of standard workwear garments, the sales of our Harbour Lights Cargo Range has exceeded all expectations, with an increase of 128% on year-on-year sales.

The range now comprises of a cargo 'family', with mens and ladies alternatives, and cargo shorts. We have also introduced another new garment - a men's cargo trouser with knee-pad pouches. (TR320 / TR328 / TR322 / TR321). Fortunately, due to the flexibiliity of our manufacturing department, we are managing to keep up with demand, and increase production to satisfy our expanding sales.
Asking our Sales Director, Joe Reilly, for the reasons for this large increase in cargo sales, he replied that in addition to our ability to give next-day delivery, and the great value that these cargo trousers represent, there is a strong movement within the service industry towards this type of garment. They have a military influence, are smart and stylish, whilst remaining fashionable and durable.

 S.G.S. DEPARTMENT SUCCESS
(Posted 01 May, 2006)
Since opening our SGS (Special Garment Services) Department, Davern has secured substantial contracts for Davern Customers. This is due to the flexibility and skills at our factories, prompt delivery, competitive prices, and consistantly good quality.

One of the greatest selling points for this SGS Department is that there is no need to purchase in container quantities, and that our manufacture time from Eastern Europe is weeks, rather than months.
